Initially, I wanted to write a full review on this music video but I realized something. For those who are avid readers of my blog, you’re quite aware of everything Gramm has been up to. Gramm has made it clear that the Re-Dash is more than just an album but a stand on no longer being overlooked as an artist. It’s safe to say that he’s making a stand on behalf of all underdogs that if you want go get it and be consistent.
It was nothing but strategic that Gramm would drop the track The Break-Up on Valentine’s Day, especially with the track using the sample of the infamous Funny Valentine by the amazing Anita Baker. The anticipation, the promotion and the buildup leading to the release of the album was all but precisely planned.
All I’ll say is this, if you haven’t been paying attention to Gramm before, don’t sleep on him now because it’s clear he has no intention of backing down or going away any time soon.
